When Worlds Collide

I handle anything mechanical, Cindy handles anything Ambiance. Sometimes these disciplines are at odds. I could not meet with the electrician on this particular day.

Electrician: "Uh... I .... Was thinking, I mean if its ok.. I was going to install PVC conduit for the new lines in the basement..."

...long awkward pause...

Electrician: "Now I have you pegged as a non PVC type of gal"

Cindy: "Yes well, I am prone to spray paint anything PVC"

Electrician says with an optimistic smile , "Ok, well then, how about shiny aluminum conduit"

Cindy: "How about oiled rubbed bronze?"

Electrician: "uh ...."

Cindy: "Ok galvanized for the basement is fine"

Electrician: "Where did you say the nearest bar was?"

Later that day.....

Cindy looking seriously at the painter: "Do you think these colors get along?"

Painter: "Excuse me?"

Cindy: "Well this looks fresh, and this looks happy, do you think they get along"

Painter: " I could tell by the way you dressed, you knew your colors"

Taylor thinking and too quiet to speak up, heck I know my colors and numbers, and I am pretty sure colors are inanimate and don't have the capacity to get along.

Taylor: "Perfect, I think they get along just fine"

Painter: "Yep, me too"

I'm getting caught up on Nemo so I can say, PVC for the basement - yes. It's waterproof and basements are damp. How much time will you be looking around in your storage/maybe exercise area. And yes, happy and fresh get along. They're both earth tones.

PS: Got Sox tix yet? I do.
